I saw it on a neighbors TV because we didn't own one -- The 1933 RKO Radio Pictures version -- when I was 6 years old. It was rerun on TV this evening. It's one of the 100 Greatest Films by the National Film Registry... and <strong>King Kong </strong>was the defining point that turned my interests to "things that aren't real" - monsters and science fiction. It saddens me that everything in the news and media shows me that america is losing it's capacity to be compassionate and caring... from corporate greed and political deception for profiteering politicians to wars and disintegrating social programs. Am I just stinging myself to death trying to make things better? I don't know.. perhaps that's the destiny of the Blue Scorpion.
